Nonprofit Addiction Treatment & Support
Youth-to-Adult

w

Addiction is a chronic disease and it's about time we treat it that way.

Austin Recovery Network is a nonprofit addiction treatment and support system of care. Services include adolescent peer-to-peer support, a recovery-focused high school and adult intensive outpatient supports.

The disease of addiction has a relapse prevention and maintenance program that isn’t unlike those designed for diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease, but we treat it like it’s a one-time sickness.

Those diagnosed with the disease of addiction will need lifetime access to care and support and Austin Recovery, University High School, and Keystone APG are re-imagining what a continuum of care needs to look like to be fully person-centered and affordable for the duration of that person’s life.

Programs For Adolescents

University High School

University High School was founded by concerned parents, researchers, community leaders and others dedicated to helping teens remain in recovery from the disease of addiction. UHS opened in August, 2014 and is the only recovery high school in Central Texas.

Phoenix House

Situated in the Bouldin Creek neighborhood in south central Austin, we offer strengths based, person centered residential drug and alcohol addiction treatment services for teen boys ages 13 – 18 who struggle with substance use disorder and co-occurring mental health problems.

Keystone APG

Keystone APG is a program that utilizes the 12 step model, peer-led support groups, after-school activities, and weekend events to help adolescents begin their recovery from addiction. Keystone knows that addiction is a family disease, which is why we also offer a weekly family group and parent support groups.
