Nonprofit Addiction Treatment & Support
Austin Recovery Network is a nonprofit addiction treatment and support system of care. Services include adolescent peer-to-peer support, a recovery-focused high school and adult intensive outpatient supports.
Those diagnosed with the disease of addiction will need lifetime access to care and support and Austin Recovery, University High School, and Keystone APG are re-imagining what a continuum of care needs to look like to be fully person-centered and affordable for the duration of that person’s life.
University High School was founded by concerned parents, researchers, community leaders and others dedicated to helping teens remain in recovery from the disease of addiction. UHS opened in August, 2014 and is the only recovery high school in Central Texas.
Situated in the Bouldin Creek neighborhood in south central Austin, we offer strengths based, person centered residential drug and alcohol addiction treatment services for teen boys ages 13 – 18 who struggle with substance use disorder and co-occurring mental health problems.
Keystone APG is a program that utilizes the 12 step model, peer-led support groups, after-school activities, and weekend events to help adolescents begin their recovery from addiction. Keystone knows that addiction is a family disease, which is why we also offer a weekly family group and parent support groups.
Austin Recovery Family House is a 90 day residential program for pregnant women and parenting women with a child who is five years or younger. Mother and child may stay together for the duration of her stay at Austin Recovery.
The Center for Students in Recovery provides a supportive community where students in recovery and in hope of recovery can achieve academic success while enjoying a genuine college experience free from alcohol and other drugs.
Peer recovery program, support groups and meetings, educational workshops, health and wellness classes, a career closet, a computer lab, and connections to other community resources such as housing and employment.
CARMAhealth’s providers adopt a positive, collaborative approach and integrate primary medicine, behavioral health and care management to promote lasting recovery, encourage self-care and improve treatment outcomes.
